HCCC
There are a number of options for buying textbooks at Hudson County Community College. These include the campus bookstore, the online bookstore, and the Follett Bookstore. Purchasing a book isn't as expensive as you might think.
The HCC Campus Store sells a variety of items from backpacks to tech gadgets. The store is open from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm on weekdays and from 8:00 am to noon on weekends. It accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and cash. A student may also purchase shipping labels for textbooks.
The HCCC online bookstore is another good place to buy new or used books, computer software, and e-books. A nifty feature is the "External Book Advance" - a service for students who miss the book advance deadline. This service allows students to return textbooks after purchasing them if they are damaged.
Manhattan College
The campus bookstore at Manhattan College is operated by Barnes & Noble College Booksellers. There is a selection of new, used, and digital textbooks available for students to purchase. Merchandise is also available.
The college is located in the Bronx, New York. Manhattan College was originally founded as the Academy of the Holy Infancy in 1853 by five French De La Salle Christian Brothers. It is now a private Catholic liberal arts university.
The college offers a wide variety of majors and degree programs. Students can choose from business, education, science, or arts. The school also participates in a consortium of liberal arts colleges called the New York Cluster of seven colleges supported by the Pew Charitable Trusts.
Students can participate in athletics, such as baseball, basketball, soccer, golf, softball, volleyball, lacrosse, and track and field. Manhattan College is a member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. Women's sports are also offered.
Fairleigh Dickinson University
The Fairleigh Dickinson University campus bookstore has a lot to offer students. In fact, Follett's snazzy store boasts the largest selection of electronics and gadgets in the tri-state area, and even offers free expedited shipping on orders of more than two items. And with a staff of around a dozen full-time employees, there's always someone to help you out, no matter what time of day it is.
Stony Brook University
Stony Brook University and Barnes & Noble College have announced an agreement that will make Barnes & Noble the official campus store provider. This means that students will save on textbook costs and have access to a variety of benefits.
According to Barnes & Noble, the partnership is designed to improve customer service and student life. The company will also provide curbside pick-up and a rewards program. Additionally, the bookstore will offer a digital experience with a new mobile app.
Students will still be able to order textbooks online and receive them in their lockers. They will also be able to buy clickers with licenses. However, the Queens College bookstore will no longer sell physical books. In fact, they shipped their books out last month.
Amazon is one of the few campus book providers. It operates at 12 colleges and universities. Each of these locations offers a pickup location, with a total of 17 by the end of the year.
